This article was previously published under Q278111
On This Page
SYMPTOMS
If you use the Application Center 2000 Administration snap-in to change the cluster master, and if the cluster master is changed successfully, the snap-in may display various errors instead of showing the new cluster configuration. You may see various errors that end with "This server is not the cluster controller," depending on what displays you have selected in the right pane.
CAUSE
The Application Center 2000 Administration snap-in does not automatically reconnect to the new cluster master after a cluster master switch.
RESOLUTION
To restore the correct displays, you can press F5 or click any of the refresh menu items or buttons.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
