OFFXP: Your "Features to Install" Settings Are Not Saved During Office Setup

SYMPTOMS
When you perform a Custom Install of Microsoft Office XP, your changes to the
Features to Install settings are not saved.
CAUSE
This issue occurs when the following conditions are all true:
- You select Custom Install.
- You make changes to the Features to Install settings.
- You then select to go back to an earlier screen.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, you must reapply your changes to the
Features to Install settings.
