ACC97: #S_C_H# Appears in a Column of a Linked SQL Server Table

SYMPTOMS
When you open a linked Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 table in a Microsoft Access database, you notice that a field has
"#S_C_H#" in it instead of the actual data.
CAUSE
There is a space in at least one of the column names or in the table name in the linked SQL Server table.
RESOLUTION
Remove all spaces or special characters from the table or column names in the SQL Server table. Embedded spaces or special characters are not allowed in SQL Server database object names.
