You receive an "MSO9.dll Error" error message when you copy a slide or print a presentation that contains objects in PowerPoint 2000

SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to copy an object (usually a Graph
object), copy a slide, or print a presentation containing one or more objects,
you may receive the following error message:
CAUSE
The object or objects in question may be damaged or
corrupted.
WORKAROUND
Error When Copying Objects or Slides
- In Microsoft PowerPoint, right-click the object, and then
click Cut.
- Start Microsoft Word or Microsoft WordPad, and then click Paste.
- Right-click the object in Word or WordPad, and then click Copy.
- Switch back to Microsoft PowerPoint, and then paste the
object back into the presentation.Note: If you are unable to successfully cut, copy, and paste the
object, you need to delete the damaged object and re-create it.
Error When Printing
To print the presentation containing the corrupted object, turn
off background printing in PowerPoint. To do so, follow these steps:
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Print tab.
- Click to clear the Background Printing check box, and then click OK.
