Dr. Watson Occurs Recalculating Web or Check And Fix in MMC
This article was previously published under Q217756
When performing a Recalculate Web or Check Server Extensions process in
the Microsoft Management Console, the following Dr. Watson error message
is displayed.
Dr. Watson for Windows NT
An error has occurred and an application error log is being
generated.
mmc.exe
Exception: access violation (0xc0000005), Address: 0x67f26153
The error occurs when performing a Recalculate Web or Check Server
Extensions and you do not click OK at the completion of each task.
For example:
You click Task, Recalculate Web for one subweb, and do not click OK when
the dialog box appears notifying you that the task is complete, and you
then perform a Recalculate Web on another subweb. After Recalculating each
Web, you click OK for both Webs. This results in a Dr. Watson error
message being displayed.
To resolve this problem, click OK after completing each task.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the FrontPage 2000 Server Extensions.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
