MORE INFORMATION

If the Deluxecd.mdb file is not marked with the Read-only file attribute, the file may be damaged. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1.Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files Or Folders.
2.In the Named box, type deluxecd.mdb, and then click Find Now.
3.In the list of found files, right-click the Deluxecd.mdb file, and then click Delete.
4.Click OK, and then close the Find: Files Named Deluxecd.mdb dialog box.
5.Restart the Deluxe CD Player utility to create a new Deluxecd.mdb file.
NOTE: When you follow these steps, any album information in your previous Deluxecd.mdb file is lost.

If you still receive the error message after following these steps, try the following method to re-establish the Deluxecd.mdb file.

NOTE: If you have not installed the optional Compressed Folders component of Plus! 98, install it before using this method.
1.Insert the Plus! 98 CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive while holding down the SHIFT key to prevent the Auto Run feature from starting.
2.Use Windows Explorer to open the Plus98 folder on the Plus! 98 CD-ROM.
3.Double-click the Plus98.cab file.
4.In the window that opens, right-click the Deluxecd.exe file, and then click Extract.
5.Choose the path to the folder to which you want to extract the file (for example, the Temp folder), and then click OK.
6.Close the window.
7.In Windows Explorer, open the folder to which you extracted the file in step 5.
8.Double-click the Deluxecd.exe file. This starts Deluxe CD and reinstalls the Deluxecd.mdb file.
9.Insert an audio CD to test.
