Microsoft recommends that you have only one anti-virus program installed on your computer.

To remove the McAfee VirusScan utility installed with Plus! 98, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Click Microsoft Plus! 98, and then click Add/Remove.
  4. Click Add/Remove, and then click Next.
  5. Click the check box next to VirusScan to clear it, and then click Next.
  6. Click Next, and then click Finish.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Close Control Panel.
For information about removing any other anti-virus program installed on your computer, consult the printed documentation provided with the program or contact the program's manufacturer.
