Plus! 98: How to Remove McAfee VirusScan

SUMMARY
When you install Plus! 98, the McAfee VirusScan utility is installed even
if another anti-virus program is already installed on your computer.
Microsoft recommends that you have only one anti-virus program installed
on your computer.

Computer viruses: description, prevention, and recovery
To remove the McAfee VirusScan utility installed with Plus! 98, follow
these steps:
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Click Microsoft Plus! 98, and then click Add/Remove.
- Click Add/Remove, and then click Next.
- Click the check box next to VirusScan to clear it, and then click Next.
- Click Next, and then click Finish.
- Click OK.
- Close Control Panel.
For information about removing any other anti-virus program installed on
your computer, consult the printed documentation provided with the program
or contact the program's manufacturer.
