Plus! 98: Desktop Icons Missing When Installation Is Finished

SYMPTOMS
When you complete the installation of Plus 98!, your desktop icons may no
longer be visible on the desktop.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if both of the following conditions exist:
- Active Desktop is enabled on the computer.
- The "Hide icons when the desktop is viewed as a Web page" check box is
selected in the Display tool in Control Panel.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Display.
- Click the Effects tab.
- Click the "Hide icons when the desktop is viewed as a Web page" check
box to clear it, and then click OK.
- Close Control Panel.
