WD98: Office Assistant Animations Start Slowly
This article was previously published under Q177929
When you activate the Microsoft Office Assistant, the Assistant will
activate slowly and any sound effects may not be synchronized with the
image when it is displayed.
Although this problem occurs with all of the Office Assistants, it most
obvious with the following Office Assistants:
Bosgrove
F1
Earl
PowerPup
Rocky
There is a slow interface between Microsoft Office Assistant and the
Macintosh operating system.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem
and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.
For more information about the Office Assistant, click the Office Assistant,
type "Office Assistant," click Search, and then click to view the "Get Help,
tips, and messages through the Office Assistant" topic.
NOTE: If the Assistant is hidden, click the Office Assistant button on the
Standard toolbar. If Word Help is not installed on your computer, please
see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
